The second month of your life was SO BUSY.
In your second month we went to a professional baseball game, Disneyland, Oregon, and HAWAII to name a few.
You did amazingly well in all three places! The baseball game you pretty much slept through and only lost it for about 5 minutes. At Disneyland you again, pretty much slept the whole time and would only wake up to eat or be held for a few minutes. In Oregon you were awesome while I was shooting a wedding and loved being with your cousins there! In Hawaii you were GREAT, minus the few times we went to the beach and it was extra windy and you weren't about it.
I know it was only like 2 months ago that we did those things, but I seriously can't even believe that we did all of that! That's the struggle with babies though, they're pretty easy in the beginning because they sleep SO MUCH during the day. But, then you're recovering and not feeling at your best. But then when they get older, you are feeling better, but then the baby is a bit more needy. YOU CAN NEVER WIN.
Anyways, your second month was just full of SMILES, SMILES, SMILES. As soon as you learned how to smile and that we loved it, that was the end of it all. EXCEPT for when I wanted to take any photos of you, and then you had the GRUMPIEST face on.
You started to sleep through the night around 7 weeks old! About 8-9 hours at once and then you'd wake up and nurse for a little and fall back asleep for a few more hours! It was the best.
But this month was crazy with all of the traveling we did, but you were such an angel and did so, so well. You also chubbed up so much this month! You starting looking less like a newborn and more like a baby and your cheeks are just too much for me and Dad. We love you Rory!
