1st Trimester Recap

I have been meaning to do these question things a lot more often, but never was motivated enough so I'll just do them for the 3 trimesters! First trimester was all about announcing the baby and having the worst hunger induced nausea known to MAN. But, altogether it was just an exciting time when the baby was finally a reality, but we weren't totally convinced it was actually happening!

13 weeks!
 11 weeks!
 7 weeks!
10 weeks!

how far along are you? 1-14 weeks!

maternity clothes? No maternity clothes for me my first trimester! I remember being bummed that I wasn't showing more at this point, towards the end of the first trimester haha! If only I could go back and tell myself not to worry, one day (today) I would grow to not be so fond of this big ol' belly of mine.
sleep: sleep has been so random for me during this pregnancy. some nights are great and others are terrible, but in my first trimester, I did not have many issues, besides the fact that I wanted my back cracked or else it was hard for me to get comfy. i can't wait until I can start doing that again!
best moments: the best moments of the first trimester were definitely just finding out, telling sam, telling our families and friends, and announcing it to the public! It was also crazy to hear the heartbeat at our 8 week and 13 week appointments!
missing anything? My first trimester, I can't really remember missing anything. I really didn't "feel" all that pregnant half the time. I was afraid of sleeping on my belly, so I never did that and it's my favorite way to sleep, so I guess that would probably be the only thing!
movement? no movement until 19 weeks for this baby!  at least none that I noticed or realized!
food cravings: I was ALL ABOUT mashed potatoes my first trimester. Oh I could have eaten it all night, every night. Also bagels and cream cheese were my go to breakfast everyday. Nothing unusual, mostly just wanted more of what I already love!
queasy or sick? My first trimester, I was SO sensitive to smells! The smell of Cafe Rio sweet pork being cooked in the crock pot was KILLER for some reason. My aunt was making a lot of it one night when we were spending the night there and I woke Sam up at 5 am to leave because I felt so nauseous and then 10 minutes into driving I had to pull off to the side of the freeway and throw up out of my car door hahaha it was the worst. Also, when I first found out I was pregnant, there was a week or so there where I felt so terribly nauseous all day everyday that I remember thinking I couldn't do the whole pregnancy thing if it was going to be like that! But, I soon found out that I just wasn't eating frequently enough and it was just hunger induced nausea and as soon as I found that out, I just snacked and always made sure I ate as soon as I felt even a little hungry, and the problem solved itself!
gender: we didn't know the gender until 20 weeks! i was convinced it was a boy, since my mom and all of my siblings had boys first!
symtoms: sensitivity to smell + always hungry!
belly in or belly out? not showing at all and a normal belly button for me until about 30 weeks or so!
happy or moody? it depended, but I think probably mostly moody due to the symptoms! but then really happy when those symptoms weren't so crazy haha
looking forward to: first trimester i couldn't wait to tell my family and friends! we were also really excited to find out the gender and were hoping to find out a lot earlier than 20 weeks
